FORMAL REQUEST FOR OFFER FOR FIRE STATION No. 3 MINI SPLIT

The City of San Antonio is soliciting an offer to removethe existing equipment and provide and install two new Daikin 4-ton Mini Splitsystems to handle the load of the Fire Station No. 3 building. Work willinclude installing two new condensers with a capacity of 48,000 BTU, run newcopper lines to the indoor air handlers that will be installed in the roomswhere no Mini Split exists at this time. The line sets on the exterior wall isto be run inside a line hide cover, run all electrical circuits to all theindoor air handler as well as the condensers, run all the condensate lines toan indoor drain, perform the start-up and to ensure the systems are fullyfunctional. Work will also include removing the shop heater on the second floorand safely cap off the gas line. Work must be done in a manner to minimize anystructural work. If any structural work is needed, such as cutting holes in theceilings or walls, vendor will perform the modifications and attempt toreattach the cut pieces back to their original place as best as possible.
