Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Services

In accordance with N.C.G.S. § 143-129, through this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), GoTriangle seeks to contract with a qualified firm capable of delivering high-quality, cost-effective Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services that support GoTriangle's mission to provide safe, reliable, and equitable public transportation throughout the region. GoTriangle’s 2022 Regional Fleet & Facility Study concluded that expanding, renovating, and modernizing the existing Nelson Road Bus Operations and Maintenance Facility (BOMF) is the most cost-effective approach to meet current and future fleet and service expansion needs over the facility’s anticipated 40+ year service life. The study evaluated existing conditions, future operational needs, and potential facility alternatives and developed a conceptual (approximately 15% level) design, preliminary construction phasing approach, and planning-level cost estimate.
