USC is seeking bids from qualified contractors to construct the addition to the Nettles Building (approx. 24,340sqft). This project includes a gymnasium shell space, weight room, offices, and other support spaces. The scope includes fire protection and generator. Bids must be submitted via hand delivery or mail.

Construction of a new water pump station and 5 million gallon storage tank. The project is being funded by a loan from the State Revolving Fund and therefore bidders must comply with all applicable state and federal requirements identified in the bid documents including Davis-Bacon and “American Iron and Steel” Provisions. The existing Building C chilled water systems will be replaced with two new 120-ton air cooled chillers in a newly constructed exterior chiller yard. Supporting electrical, civil and structural trade utilities will be provided to support the new mechanical equipment.

The scope includes main electrical system upgrades to add capacity to the 1951 infrastructure by replacing the main distribution, switchboards, panels, meters, and wiring. Work also includes the demolition of two existing elevators and the installation of a single, modern passenger elevator.

The project consists of renovations to the Powers Building. The scope of work includes selective demolition of existing suspended ceilings, HVAC, and electrical components; minor hazardous material abatement; finish flooring repairs and partial floor replacement; replacement of suspended ceilings; new toilet partitions, fixtures, base cabinets, countertops & restroom sinks; and new mechanical and lighting systems for an area of appx. 18,000 SF.

Enclose existing open air pavilion with storefront windows, roll-up doors, and two exits. Space will be conditioned with a package heat pump unit and ducted supply/returns. New electrical service and LED luminaires will be installed.

The project includes the construction of a new 30-foot diameter clarifier type sludge thickener and all associated piping, valves, and pumps. The project shall include all sitework, piping, fittings, valves, appurtenances, and other items required for a complete functioning project as shown on the Contract Drawings and included in the detailed specifications.

BCPSD is requesting prequalifications from general contractors (and the use of prequalified electrical subcontractors) for new filter gallery junction boxes, new plant-wide electrical duct banks, and new MCC in the blower building.
